KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Fresno Pacific (Calif.) remained No. 1 in the Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 Poll for the fifth straight week this season and 17th consecutive poll dating back to Sept. 5, 2007 last season.  The Sunbirds received all 25 first place votes and 715 total points.

Concordia (Calif.) moved up a spot to No. 2 with 692 points while California Baptist dropped to No. 3 with 667 points.  The next five spots remained the same from last week.  Biola (Calif.) held on to No. 4 with 644 points while Madonna (Mich.) stayed at No. 5 with 614 points, Bellevue (Neb.) stayed at No. 6 with 603 points, Columbia (Mo.) stayed at No. 7 with 581 points and Vanguard (Calif.) remained at No. 8 with 551 points.  No. 9 Georgetown (Ky.) and No. 10 Lindenwood (Mo.) switched spots from the last poll with 537 and 509 points respectively.

The sixth regular season top 25 poll will be released on Tuesday, Oct. 14th.
